Q. Do I need to be good at art? 

A. No, this is for ALL levels, from beginner to experienced artist

Q. Is this course suitable for children? 

A. No, this course requires a level of self-awareness that is inappropriate for children

Q. Will I need materials?

A. Yes, a decent pencil (I favour a 2B), eraser and sharpener and a sketchbook. I recommend any old book you don’t feel precious about. You may wish to explore with different media, biro, ink, charcoal, etc. as the course progresses, but for our sessions you will just need a pencil.

Q. What happens when I sign up?

A. As soon as you buy the course you will be sent links to a booking form and our private Facebook Group. Please join the group, it will be your forum to communicate with me whilst you work through the materials and it is VERY helpful for me to get a bit more background information about you via the booking form, so I can ensure I support you as effectively as possible.

Q. When will I receive the course materials?

A. You should receive Unit 1 as soon as you sign up to the course. You will have access to the study videos, practical guided sessions, the MP3 homework and some prompts. Please watch the videos in order, as each builds on the last and take the time you need to fully understand and experience each session. The units (4 in total) will be released every 2 weeks, to give you time to work through the materials. You can’t fast-track! Taking the sessions slowly is part of the learning, so please enjoy and re-watch as many times as you like!

Q. What are the live Q&As for?

A. At the end of each module there will be a chance for a live chat, where you can ask your questions, share your experience and get to know your classmates. These sessions will be via Zoom and you will be asked for your preferred time slot and sent the link in advance. These are not compulsory, but you will get SO much more out of the course if you attend.

Q. How long will the Q&As last?

A. That depends entirely on you! If you have lots of questions I will do my best to answer them all. I’ll aim not to run over 1 hour.

Q. What if I can’t make the Q&A?

A. I will record the sessions and make them available for you to catch up. You can email me your question and I will answer it even if you aren’t there live.

Q. I've bought the course but haven't received anything.

A. First please check your junk mail and spam folders. If you can't find the confirmation there, please reach out immediately. I am busy behind the scenes getting to grips with a new software provider and your experience is critical to me understanding if I'm getting it right!
